Genie's shift
He works continuously, bounded by consequence rather than appetite. The shift report is what he did, refused and could not determine.
What runs unattended
- Alert triage against known-benign classes, with correlation and deduplication
- Safe remediations from the automation catalogue, each verified by an independent check
- Reconciliation sweeps — claimed state against verified state

Reading the report
Four sections, always in this order: what he did, what he refused and why, what is waiting on you, and what he is uncertain about.
The uncertainty is in the report, not omitted from it. A shift report that only lists successes is a shift report telling you half of what happened.
Verified, not reported
A restart that returned success and left the queue backed up is a failed outcome. Every action is confirmed by a separate call — asking the thing that acted whether it worked is not verification.
What lands on you
Anything above his tier becomes a pending item with a named owner, the consequence stated, and escalation by prominence rather than frequency.
