Support matrix
What is supported, what is supported with limits, and what is not — kept true rather than aspirational.
Operating systems
| Platform | Support |
|---|---|
| Windows 10 / 11 | Full agent |
| Windows Server 2016 and later | Full agent |
| macOS 13 and later | Full agent |
| Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, Rocky, Alma — current releases | Full agent |
| Windows Server 2012 R2 | Inventory and patch state only |
| End-of-life releases | Monitored, not managed — and stated as such |
Network devices
SNMP v2c and v3 across the common device classes. Where a device is not in the profile library, Genie proposes a profile from a walk and a person confirms it.
The published list is what is proven. A vendor claiming four hundred device types where a third do not work is less credible than one claiming sixty that all do.
Integrations
| Category | Supported |
|---|---|
| PSA | ConnectWise Manage, Autotask |
| EDR | Huntress, Bitdefender GravityZone |
| Distributor | Pax8 |
| Backup | The common vendors, normalised into three honest states |
| Telephony | Inbound screen-pop by webhook |
Write your own
The connector contract is published with a working reference implementation. An engineer who can write Python can add one in an afternoon, and it runs on the same credentials, budgets and trust boundary as ours.
Browsers
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. The console is tested at 1280px and above; the field surfaces are tested on phones.
