Migrating from ConnectWise
Clients, contacts, tickets with history, agreements and time entries — exported from Manage, mapped explicitly, and reconciled against what is actually on the network.
What comes across
| From | Brings |
|---|---|
| PSA | Clients, contacts, tickets with history, agreements, time entries |
| RMM | Assets, monitoring configuration, scripts, patch policy |
| Documentation platform | Documents, credentials, relationships |
| Spreadsheets | Anything with a consistent shape — mapped explicitly, never guessed |
Reconciled, not trusted
Migrated data is reconciled against observed state rather than accepted. An asset that exists in your old RMM and does not respond is flagged, not imported as healthy.
Expect the migration to find things. Stale assets, agreements that stopped matching reality, credentials for systems that were decommissioned. That is the reconciliation engine doing its job on day one.
Nothing is guessed
Where a field cannot be mapped confidently, it is reported unmapped and left for you. A migration that silently invents a mapping produces a dataset nobody can trust, and you find out months later.
Running in parallel
Run both platforms during transition. Dream-Genie reads without writing to your existing stack, so nothing is at risk while you compare.
What does not come across
Anything your current platform holds and does not export. Where an export is incomplete, the gap is listed before the migration runs rather than discovered after.

Thirty days · read-only · no card
Run it beside what you already have, against your real clients. It tells you what your tools are reporting that is not true.
