A ConnectWise alternative
If you run ConnectWise and it works for you, keep it. Here is an honest account of where we differ, for MSPs who are asking the question.
First, what they do well
ConnectWise has the deepest PSA in this market and fifteen years of accumulated workflow. Their certified marketplace runs to 83 listings, their partner community is genuinely large, and for a practice built around their way of working it is hard to leave for good reasons.
If your objection to them is price or support, we may not be a better answer — we are cheaper and we have no support desk at all.
Where we are different
One data model, not four products sharing a login. Manage, Automate, Control and Sell were assembled, and a quote in one does not know what a ticket in another costs to deliver. Ours do, which is why reconciliation works at all.
Self-hosted. Your clients' inventories, credentials and topology stay on your hardware.
Published pricing, no call. $6 USD per managed asset, every module, buy it on the site.
They announced a unified platform and then scrapped it twelve months later. That is not a criticism — unifying acquired products is genuinely hard, and it is precisely the problem we avoided by never having them.
The three that apply to every comparison on this site
- Reconciliation. One data model means claimed state can be compared against verified state, continuously. A platform assembled from acquisitions structurally cannot do this — it is not effort, it is architecture.
- Your data stays yours. Self-hosted, and we receive ten fields and a signature. Published in full and readable before it is sent.
- AI is not metered. The model runs on your GPU. There is nothing for us to charge for, so nothing is gated.
And what we are not
ConnectWise has thousands of MSPs, a partner ecosystem and two decades of history. We have none of that, and it is a real advantage you should weigh. What we would say against it is that their platform is four acquired products and ours is one, that your deployment survives our absence and theirs does not, and that you can prove both of those in thirty days without asking us anything.
The agent. A host that does not answer is unreachable, not zero latency; a disk that will not report SMART is unavailable, not ok. Forty-two declared verbs and what each refuses to fake.
There is no 24/7 line and no account manager. Support is email from the person who wrote the code, within published hours. Faster than most escalation paths and worse than a rota — and we would rather you knew which.
Thirty days, read-only. It changes nothing and no client is contacted.
Run it beside ConnectWise
Thirty days read-only, alongside what you already have. Nothing changes.
